Model 3 & Y Center Console Overlays (Gen. 2) Version 2 - Real Molded Carbon Fiber
Our new Version 2 is only for Model 3 & Y's with Generation 2 Center consoles.
(Does not fit 2024+ Model 3's or 2025+ Model Y's)
Our version 2 is different where you place your key card to start your Tesla. We have molded a plastic location card so anyone driving will know where to place the key card. If we had carbon fiber here the RFID signal would not go through it and you would not be able to start your Tesla from here nor add or remove extra keys.
This overlay is made from real dry molded carbon fiber, and it conforms around all the edges and fits perfectly over your existing center console pieces. It is not a vinyl decal, not a sticker, nor a printed carbon fiber vinyl. It is nothing but real dry molded carbon fiber. The fit is fantastic and installs in less than 5 minutes.
Finishes: First is a glossy finish, also known as a wet look. The glossy finish looks the most three dimensional and the pattern of the carbon fiber looks the deepest. The second is a matte finish, also known as a dry look. With matte there is less glare and reflection, but also less depth. They both look OEM, as the surface of the center console is raised 0.5 mm's, making it flush all the way across.
INSTALLATION: These install in less than 10 minutes as we show in our video below. We have 3 videos below, and please watch before attempting installation.
FIRST: is a tutorial that explains how to insure your center console will not have a clearance issue when opening and closing. Some center consoles may have a burr of plastic that can scratch overlays like this, so please watch the video to understand if yours may have this issue, and also we show you how to correct the potential scraping problem.
